Flat Charlie was hanging close to home this week here at Madison County Historical Society. Stop out and visit us this summer. Make sure to see the ducks, chickens, peafowl and Luna the Cat. If you have time, enjoy a round of Disc Golf as well.

Flat Charlie has returned for another season and he's hiding all over Winterset's most historic and fun public locations — can you track him down? Find him and return him to the Madison County Historical Society for a weekly prize, and don't forget to share your adventure with us on Facebook!

Week #1 Clue: The earliest founders of this town rest here, their names and dates carved in stone for anyone curious enough to read them. Walk the rows and see if you can find the oldest date!
