🎉 Join us Thursday, June 25, from 4–7 p.m. as we celebrate Sylvan Gallery’s 25th Anniversary during the Wiscasset Art Walk! 🎨

We’re delighted to welcome artists Roberta Goschke of Waldoboro, Maine, and Erin Spencer of Rhode Island, who will be joining us for the Art Walk with new paintings on display throughout the gallery.

🌹 Roberta Goschke’s painterly style combines impressionistic color with expressive brushwork, capturing the light and atmosphere of the scene before her—whether a luminous arrangement of flowers or the ever-changing moods of Maine’s iconic coast.

☁️ Erin Spencer’s paintings capture the soft, billowing nature of clouds—ever-changing and ephemeral. Scraped, layered, expressive, and abstract, her landscapes evolve and breathe with life, movement, and dimension.

🎸 Come meet the artists, discover new work from all of our represented artists, enjoy live music by Neil Lamb, refreshments, and some of the most delicious whoopie pies you’ll ever taste from of Westport Island.

✨ This event marks the beginning of a season-long celebration of Sylvan Gallery’s 25th Anniversary Year, with additional artist receptions planned during the July and August Art Walks.

Spring has arrived at Sylvan Gallery 🌿✨

We’re delighted to welcome a beautiful new collection of watercolors by Laura Winslow. Her paintings capture the quiet poetry of nature with expressive brushwork, luminous color, and a sense of joyful spontaneity that feels especially welcome this time of year.

From blooming bouquets to woodland hares and winding paths, each piece invites you to slow down and look a little closer.
