The Art Place

We are a fine arts gallery and custom framing shop located in the center of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire

The Art Place has been serving the area with fine art and custom framing since 1975. They represent mostly New Hampshire artists
in the form of oils, watercolors, pastels, photography, as well as limited
edition giclee prints. They are experts in custom framing and have a large selections of matting and frame samples from which to
choose. The Art Place is located in downtown Wolfeboro, which is on Lake
Winnipesaukee.

Just arrived at the gallery, " Green and Gold - 6th Hole Kingswood Country Club". Framed acrylic painting by Peter Ferber. Painting is 17"x10". Happy St. Patricks Day!

Wishing all of our customer's a wonderful holiday season and a happy New Year! A couple new additions to the gallery are Paddler's Reward by Steve Simon, Wolfeboro Regatta 2025 by Leigh Schoch, and Nature at it's Best by Cam Sinclair. We will be open today, Saturday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday until 2 pm.

We just added a couple originals to the gallery. "Dock in Shadow" original paper cut by Peter Ferber and a stunning original calligraphy and watercolor with gold leaf accents by Leigh English. The Art Place is holding the annual summer show for renowned local artist Peter Ferber today, Saturday from 9:30 to 5. Come in to see Peter's newest work in oil, watercolor, and his cut paper dimensional art. New framed artwork will be on display until August 24th.

We are just two weeks away from the Peter Ferber Gallery Show now being held on Saturday, August 10th. The show will showcase a selection of paintings featuring scenes from Camp DeWitt 1924-1989 and Camp Wyanoke 1909-1975. These two original watercolors will be available at the show and available as prints. We will post additional details of other paintings as we get closer to the show. Doors open at 9:30.
