Is AI a tool? Or are we?

One of the most powerful moments from the AI & The Arts Panel came from a simple but profound idea shared by Bomani Armah:

"The future of the arts may not be determined by what AI can create. It may be determined by whether humans continue to create with purpose."

Much of the public conversation surrounding artificial intelligence focuses on capability.

What can AI write? What can AI paint? What can AI compose?

But perhaps the more important questions are human questions. What do we value? What makes creativity meaningful? How do we preserve curiosity, imagination, culture, and lived experience in a world where technology can increasingly replicate outputs?

Technology has always changed the way we create. The challenge before us is ensuring that innovation expands human creativity rather than diminishes it.

At Edutainment Productions, we believe the future of the arts is not simply a technology conversation. It is an education conversation. A workforce conversation. A cultural conversation. And ultimately, a human conversation.

The question is not whether AI will continue to evolve. The question is whether we will continue creating with intention, purpose, and humanity.

"What if it doesn't work out?"

It's one of the most common questions artists, creatives, and young professionals ask themselves. But it's rarely the most important one.

Because every meaningful opportunity comes with uncertainty.

The first performance.
The first application.
The first exhibition.
The first business.
The first time sharing your work publicly.

There are no guarantees. But growth doesn't come from certainty.
It comes from experience. Too often, people wait until they feel completely prepared before taking action. In reality, confidence is usually built after the step is taken, not before.

At Edutainment Productions at OSA, we're interested in helping people develop more than talent.
