In honor of the 31st year of Vermont Archaeology Month this September, we are posting a "history mystery" to be solved. This object was found in the Ottauquechee River recently. What is it? It appears to made of stone (volcanic pumice) and is heavy. There is a concave indentation on the bottom side that looks smoother than the rest of the object.
