Woodstock History Center

Woodstock History Center We preserve the history of the Woodstock area, engage in place-based education, and serve as a center for research.

The History Center, located in the heart of the village and historic district, celebrates the evolution of Woodstock over the past two hundred and fifty years. Visitors may tour the museum flush with fascinating local artifacts and view several new exhibitions each year. In addition to its museum, the History Center has an extensive library where researchers are welcome to view historical and gene

alogical information, photographs and other ephemera. For those who prefer the outdoors, the History Center has perennial gardens and a beautiful back lawn with a view of Woodstock Village's only covered bridge.

The Woodstock History Center has spaces available in its newly renovated parking lot located in the center of the Village of Woodstock. The lot is located near the junction of Elm and Central Streets (just off of the Village Square) making it a convenient place to park when you need to go to the post office, shop locally, attend events, and more. It's a great option for those with limited or no parking that rent an office, studio, or apartment space, or are connected to a village business. Overnight parking is an option.
