In 1908, there was a "Home Coming" event held in Xenia; former residents were invited to come home for a few days and visit their old friends. This "Seeing Xenia" tour was kind of a joke; Russell Greiner was the instigator. The Fifer livery stable building pictured is still around, on East Second St.
