If summer on Cape Cod means community traditions, local creativity, and a little bit of whimsy, then Dan Santos is your kind of site manager.

As part of Historic New England's Meet Your Site Managers series, we're introducing Dan, Southern New England Regional Site Administrator. This season, he's especially looking forward to welcoming visitors to Winslow Crocker House and seeing the site's contribution to Yarmouth Port's annual sand sculpture trail come to life.

Longtime member William Schulz wrote to us earlier this week, just after most of our properties closed for the season, to share that he had visited his thirty-ninth site and officially completed his Historic New England Passport—at the Winslow Crocker House! To commemorate the milestone, he wrote a follow-up essay to his earlier blog post from this season.
