😍 YONKERS ARTS WEEKEND returns this weekend May 15–17, 2026, bringing a full weekend of art, music and culture to locations across the City. Artists, performers and creatives will take over galleries, public spaces and local venues with exhibitions, live performances and hands-on experiences for all ages.

🔹 Saturday and Sunday, May 16 & 17
1 – 6pm | “Red, White, Blue and You” Art Exhibition
View our current art exhibition which features red work, blue work and white work as well as combinations there of. This exhibition celebrate the 250th Birthday of our country. Art is available for sale. Fine a treasure to add to or begin your collection!
1 – 5pm | Colonial Toy Making: Whirligigs
Children and adults alike, are welcome to drop by our craft corner, to learn, from a local artist, how to make a whirligig. Make your own and bring it home with you.
🔹 Saturday, May 16
10am – Noon | Children’s Art Workshop with Artist Jaqui Mejia
For kids age 5 – 12, join us for a free art workshop taught by a local artist. We have these classes each Saturday morning with different teachers. No drop-offs, please stay with your child.
2 – 3:30pm | Folk Sing-Along with Adam Hart
Accomplished musician Adam Hart will lead an engaging folk sing-along for all ages. Accompanying himself on acoustic guitar, Adam brings energy and warmth to every performance—sure to get your foot tapping. Enjoy beloved classics like “This Land Is Your Land” and many more in this fun, interactive musical experience.

3 – 5pm | Critical Response Jazz Trio & �Yonkers Poet Laureate, Golda Solomon
Jazz Trio Critical Response joins forces with Yonkers Poet Laureate Golda Solomon for a lively, jazzy afternoon at the Blue Door Art Center. This dynamic performance blends music and poetry, featuring acclaimed musicians Jason Kao Hwang on violin, Michael T.A. Thompson on drums, and Anders Nilsson on guitar. Enjoy an inspiring and soulful experience—free and open to all!
