WOAH!! These three paintings were entered into a show celebrating the evolving experiences of women, girls, and gender diverse people in New Hampshire and beyond. To me, an old New England guy in the most archaic of senses, these images reflect the journey I've seen my daughter navigate through the pandemic and the pain of isolation that it brought, through the tumult of high school in the aftermath of all that, and her ongoing journey as a strong, independent, young woman. All while dealing witb the pressures of increased academic expectations and the ever present social media. My hat is off to her and her entire generation. In hindsight we gen x types had it pretty easy Dude Guy.
