Wessels Living History Farm

Wessels Living History Farm We are a living history farm set in the 1920s. We are open for the 2026 season! It is typical of farm architecture of the early 20th Century.

The 145 acre physical site includes ten buildings including a house that David Wessels and his brother lived in for a period of time. The physical site brings to life the history of agriculture for local visitors. The web site spreads that message to the world through educational content- articles, photos and videos. The Farm has increased its annual attendance at the physical site to over 8,000 v

isitors a year. Visitors have come from all 50 states and 23 foreign countries. Memberships have grown to over 200. The Farm's educational programs have kept the Farm open six to seven days a week April through October with a full schedule of special events during this time as well. We are open regularly to the public Wednesday through Sunday, May through October. Classes, special tours and group events may be scheduled most months of the year, depending on your needs. (Limited spaces for gatherings during the winter months)
