Kathryn Carter has successfully taught fine art to adults and children at her studio in York Harbor, Maine, for over twenty years. Having studied privately with several internationally celebrated artists, she is committed to sharing her experience and knowledge with those who seek to express themselves and the beauty of creation through their artistic gifts. Children's "Young At Art" after school

classes are for all ages from Kindergarten through 8th grade. All classes are small (limited to seven children) and are offered in sessions. FALL SESSION- 2014

Children’s after-school art classes, Young At Art, will begin in October. York school busses provide transportation to the studio. Classes are from 3:30 to 5 for elementary and from 2:30 to 4 for middle school. Fall Session is $165 which runs for 8 weeks and includes all professional grade art materials and a healthy snack. We have served the York community for over 20 years.

The Central Bean is hosting Watercolor & Wine on August 8 from 6 -8PM. Join us as we create a beautiful watercolor of “Sunflowers.” There are still a couple of spaces available so if you wish to join us simply register with The Central restaurant or Central Bean Bakery, both in York.
Enjoy a fun evening with friends in a great setting with terrific food, drinks and baked goodies. No experience needed. We will guide you step by step, no stress.
Cost pp is $35, includes all art materials. Food and beverages available for purchase.

YOUNG AT ART, 2019-2020, art classes for students in Kindergarten through grade 8, is open for enrollment. Spaces are limited and offered, as always, on a first come basis. For over 20 years we have remained committed to teaching children the fundamentals of art and expressing themselves creatively in a fun and safe atmosphere. York schools bus students to our studio in York Harbor, healthy snacks and all fine art materials are provided. Students create their own masterpieces in watercolor, acrylic, basic drawing and sculpture while learning fundamental and advanced principles. Our affordable classes are small by design to ensure each child has plenty of personal attention. We offer three sessions of classes, Fall (8 weeks), Winter (8weeks) and Spring (6weeks), throughout the school year. Young At Art and YACE Fall Sessions are drawing to a close. Registration is open for the Winter Sessions at the York Harbor studio with space still available in a few classes. The Winter Session will begin the second week in January. Please call 207-363-6381 for more details or to register.

Watercolor & Wine at Central Bean in York on December 4 from 6 to 8 PM. The theme is old fashioned “Christmas Lights.” Register at Central or Central Bean. $35 per person includes all instruction and art materials (not food or beverages). Adults only.
