Create a Rice & Stone Mosaic Memory at Tam Coc Museum

At Tam Coc Museum, travelers can create their own handmade artwork using local rice grains and colorful natural stones collected and prepared in Vietnam.

Each small piece becomes part of a personal mosaic inspired by countryside life, nature, flowers, rice farming, and traditional Vietnamese culture.

More than a simple souvenir, the artwork becomes a memory connected to the journey through Tam Coc and Ninh Binh.

Using materials closely linked to local agricultural culture, this experience also helps visitors discover how rice — one of the most important symbols of Vietnam — can be transformed into art.

Not every experience in Tam Coc happens on a boat.
Some begin quietly… inside a 100-year-old house.

Hidden in a small village near Tam Coc, this traditional Vietnamese house has stood through generations. Built with natural stone foundations and rare old wood, every wooden beam, carved door, and worn floor carries traces of family life from another era.

Today, the house is cared for by Mr Khoa — the current owner, who has lived here for more than 60 years.
For him, this is not a museum. It is simply home.

When guests visit in the evening, the experience is not about luxury or performance. People sit together under the warm yellow lights, drink tea or local rice wine, listen to stories about village life, farming traditions, ancestors, and the changing countryside of Vietnam.

Sometimes the conversations last longer than the dinner itself.

This is the kind of place where travelers slowly stop feeling like tourists.

At Tam Coc Museum, we believe culture is not only something to “see” — but something to sit with, eat with, and listen to.

Some nights in Vietnam are not found in bars or big shows. 🇻🇳✨

Just local families, traditional food, folk dance, music, stories, and people sitting together under the countryside night in Tam Coc.

A slow and rare experience that still feels real. 🌿

An evening inside a 100-year-old Vietnamese house 🇻🇳
Not a performance. Not a restaurant.

A real night with locals —
sharing dinner, listening to stories,
and watching a traditional fan dance passed down through generations.

Slow down. Stay longer. Feel Vietnam.
