Last night the Old Shul was full of the excited chatter of Herzlia High students and their parents arriving for the opening of our annual 𝙈𝙮 𝙁𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮 𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 exhibition.

This is a flagship international project of the ANU Museum of the Jewish People in Tel Aviv.

The exhibition showcases Grade 8 students’ artistic creations, resulting from research into their family histories and how they fit into wider themes of Jewish life.

𝙈𝙮 𝙁𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮 𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 will be on display at the SAJM until 31 March. The top three projects will be entered into ANU Museum’s global competition.

The Cape Town Holocaust & Genocide Centre is proud to present 'Footprints', a thought-provoking film festival showcasing a selection of films that explore the Holocaust, with a special focus on the history and experiences of Polish Jews.

Taking place from November 25-27, 2025, the festival features four compelling films: 'Treasure', 'Where Are You Going?', 'Renia Spiegel's Diary', and 'Bedrock'. These films offer a unique perspective on the Holocaust, shedding light on the stories and struggles of those affected.

Last night high spirits filled our gallery at the opening of the annual Herzlia High School Matric Art Exhibition.
Families, teachers, students and friends celebrated as they viewed the culmination of many years of work and study.
Congratulations to the artists and to Lauren Palte, Herzlia’s Head of Art, for putting together a stunning display.
We look forward to seeing some of these names up in galleries in the future!

The exhibition will run until November 2026.
