Chandeliers of a different kind!! These beauties are made by African Illumination. Architecturally designed by Nico and filled in with found objects that have been recycled by his team of creative ladies. We are going to miss this beautiful sphere assembled by Ben Dixon metal artist and engineer because it will be leaving the gallery shortly, on its way to a beautiful garden in Cape Town.
We do have other unique works by Ben on show.

Pomario school headmaster Johan Jordaan invited the gallery to collaborate with the school’s art students, and his passion for his learners and this project got us all fired up with enthusiasm.

Yesterday, like a ray of sunshine, a group of high spirited budding young creatives with their enthusiastic teacher Lana Swanepoel and Johan Jordaan entered the gallery come art studio where they were greeted by Aldo Brincat the art teacher who ensured from that moment it was go, go, go and full steam ahead! To produce African masks which is part of their curriculum.

Visitors to the gallery soon got caught up in the overall enthusiasm and it was a wonderful creative experience for all.

We would like to to complement Pomario for for their commitment towards the benefits of nurturing the arts in their students lives.

It was such a pleasure to be in the midst of these beautiful inspirational and shining students, and we thank Pomario wholeheartedly for inviting our participation, it was a privilege to be associated with your ethos of excellence.

When three tiny treasures flew into the gallery, and the dust had hardly settled, one of these fast fleeting Sun Birds took off and we hear has safely landed in Ireland.
Annelie Venter who is well known for her beautiful paintings captures these treasured moments when walking on her family farm.
Our art loving visitors often return to inquire if we have new works by this much loved artist.
