Collected art often says as much about what we feel as what we see.

These latest monotypes by Ig Terblanche are restrained, intimate, and deeply atmospheric — works that ask for contemplation rather than attention.

The muted monochrome palette allows texture, gesture, and emotion to become the true subject. Pieces like these work beautifully in contemporary interiors where subtlety carries more power than excess.

Sending strength to everyone affected by the recent storms.

The gallery remains open, and perhaps now more than ever, we are reminded how important beauty, creativity and human connection are.

Thinking of our community during this difficult time.

New work has arrived by Marinda Combrinck,

Marinda’s inspiration comes from quietly observing people in shared spaces—watching how we interact, pause, and drift in and out of connection. Her work often reflects the subtle psychology of everyday moments and human relationships .

Her latest piece, Distracted, sits beautifully alongside A Passing Phase. Together, they capture fleeting moments by the sea—figures caught between presence and distraction, connection and distance.

There is something very familiar in these scenes… perhaps a reflection of ourselves.
