The name Chrysalis Fine Art comes from the phenomenon of a chrysalis which is the pupal stage of butterflies and is the Greek term for 'chrysos' meaning Gold. This term is derived from the metallic gold colouration found in the pupae of many butterflies. Thus the artists are still in the form of a golden 'chrysalis' but, through the investors’ support, will one day metamorphosise into a majestic 'butterfly' of the art world.
