“All Eyes On Her”
154 x 244cm
Acrylic On Canvas
Framed in Black

She doesn’t ask for attention, she commands it! Draped in black against gold, wild with colour and unapologetically powerful, she’s the moment the whole room pauses for. More than beauty, she’s a reminder that what we hold in our minds shapes the life we lead. A positive mind creates a positive life, and she embodies that energy. Hang her on your wall and watch her do what she does best: stop people in their tracks and shift the space into something brighter, stronger, bolder. That way she’s not just the focal point, she’s a daily mindset check.

“Electric Tide”
90 x 152cm
Acrylic On Canvas

R8,500.00 - Available on Lunastore.co.za

Electric Tide doesn’t hang on a wall so much as it pulls you in.

Across the 90 × 152 cm canvas, paint moves like a live current. Loops surge, break, and collide. Marks scatter and reform, the way thoughts do when you’re trying to hold too many at once. Deep blues and blacks give it weight and depth — like looking into moving water at night. Then yellow sparks. Red flares. Soft pink surfaces for a breath. They’re moments of clarity flashing through the chaos.

It’s a push and pull between instinct and intention. Wild, gestural strokes meet shapes that are placed with purpose, especially the central forms that beat like a pulse through the piece. Circles echo. Dashes interrupt. Clusters of marks feel like conversation, argument, resolution. There’s a language here, even if you can’t translate it.

At this size, you don’t just see _Electric Tide_. You stand inside it. The perspective shifts as you move. Some days it reads like motion. Other days, like memory. It’s unpredictable, electric, and personal — a tide that takes you where you need to go.

* See the full painting in my next post!*

At my last exhibition, several collectors mentioned that my work leans feminine — the subject matter, the palette, the softness. I paint women often, and I love pink. But I also want my work to belong in every kind of space.

Electric Tide was my answer to that conversation. I didn’t want to force something overtly masculine. Instead, I started with a different foundation: blacks, deep blues, sage, mustard, and burnt reds. As the painting evolved, it felt too cool, too distant. It needed warmth. So I brought pink back in — not as a statement, but as a breath.

The result is a piece I didn’t expect. It’s bold, layered, and louder than my usual work. Texture and rhythm drive the surface. It’s not strictly masculine or feminine. It sits in the balance — strong enough for an office or restaurant, warm enough for a family home.

I loved getting lost in this one. And I’ve priced it to move, because I want it living in a space, not sitting in storage.

“Electric Tide”
90 x 152cm
Acrylic On Canvas

R8,500.00

Electric Tide is a dynamic exploration of movement, rhythm, and emotional energy. The composition surges across the canvas like a living current—loops, marks, and bursts of color collide and dissolve, echoing the unpredictability of thought and feeling. Bold blues and deep blacks create a sense of depth and momentum, while flashes of yellow, orange, red, and soft pink punctuate the surface like moments of clarity within chaos. The blues, turquoise and sage bring calm.

The painting balances instinct and control: gestural strokes and intuitive markings are layered with deliberate shapes that anchor the eye, particularly through the central forms that act as a visual pulse. Repeated motifs—circles, dashes, and clustered marks—create a language of their own, suggesting connection, disruption, and renewal.

At 90 × 152 cm, the scale invites immersion. The viewer is drawn into a shifting landscape where no single perspective dominates, encouraging a personal reading of the work. Electric Tide captures the tension between disorder and harmony, offering a space where energy is not contained, but expressed—raw, vibrant, and unapologetically alive.

"Addicted"
120 x 120cm
Acrylic on canvas
2026

This piece is huge and captivating! It took days because I just couldn't stop adding. The closer you look the more you see! I absolutely love being able to just have fun with a canvas. Make a mess, bubbles, splatter, spill. (I actually almost died while painting this) My canvas fell over and knocked my water bowl over, which landed directly on top of my extension cord and heat gun. The whole house tripped. I was standing in the water. But I was wearing rubber flip flops, and I think they saved me. It was actually pretty scary. And then, of course, my husband flipped the electricity switch back up immediately while I was still in the puddle. I screamed to him to quickly put it off. My goodness. It was like hairdryer in the bath vibes.

So maybe this painting should actually be called "Lucky to be alive" or "Still breathing" or "Almost toast" 🤣🤣 I dont know. I chose "Addicted" because, truthfully, 1. I like the song, and it looked nice with my video. 2. I am totally addicted to painting, and not even a near death experience would make me stop. I continued straight away, and 3. I love it a lot and could be addicted to painting in this style. It's so much fun. I love the freedom of abstract painting.

Anyways. This will be available online tomorrow. But if you want to grab it before it goes online, then please DM me.

“Dreaming”

I called it “Dreaming” because whilst painting it, all I could think about was my plans for next year. I am so inspired and so excited!

This dynamic duo of abstract paintings is a celebration of colour, energy, and movement. “Dreaming” is a pair of modern, retro-inspired artworks that explode with vibrant hues and textures, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in their swirling rhythms.

Each painting is a unique, hand-crafted world of shapes, markings, and colours that seem to pulse with an inner light. Together, they form a harmonious dialogue, echoing and contrasting each other’s energies in a joyful dance of visual sound.

” Dreaming” is a testament to the power of creativity and self-expression, a reminder that art is a journey, not a destination. These paintings will bring a burst of energy and optimism to any space, inspiring you to live life to the fullest.

Yesterday my sweet friend Solomon asked me what my plans are for next year. And I replied "I'm just going to wing it." But the truth is.. I have huge dreams and goals for next year... but I had them the past 2 years too but I didn't manage to make them a reality. So I almost felt too ashamed to say what my goals or dreams are for next year as I didn't want him to know in case I failed again.

But today after selling Ballerina Girl and after having such amazing feedback yesterday I am feeling more inspired than ever.

So today I sat dreaming about what I want to do next year and got my head into the right space while I just had fun painting these 2 beautiful abstract pieces.

I called the set "Dreaming" because that's why I was doing.

Im not going to put my plans out publicly just yet but when the ball starts rolling... because it will.. I will definitely keep you all updated.

Thanks to all my clients, collectors, my family and my friends.. especially my fellow artist friends who have supported me and cheered me on through my art journey.
