Journey mapping’
‘n Kreatiewe retreat

Soms raak ons voete nie grond nie. Alles gebeur net marmotjie- op- ‘n- wiel -vinnig en dit voel asof God se stem veraf klink.

In die ‘Journey Mapping’ kursus gebruik ons kaarte- oud en modern - en al hul elemente ,om ons net weer stil te laat raak en te laat reflekteer oor die Waarheid van versorg en liefgehê wees deur ‘n Hemelse Vader.

Daar is 33+ installasies op die verskeie kuns- en gebedsroetes op die plaas wat jul welkom is om te kom beleef tydens die kursus.

Koste:
- Studente wat nie op die plaas tuisgaan nie R1950 insluitende kursusfooi, tee en ligte middagete
- Studente wat op plaas tuisgaan maar hul eie etes wil voorberei R1950+ verblyf
- Studente wat op die plaas tuisgaan en van die etes saam wil geniet

LETTERS IN KLEI
Verborge in letters en hul kombinasies is ‘n tapisserie van patrone en simbole
In die slypskool gaan ons eksperimenteer met van die kombinasies en dit dan toepas op papier of klei
Teen ‘n addisionele koste van R400 kan studente wat belangstel, hulle ontwerpe uitkerf op ‘n pragtige handgemaakte Sue Savage ‘spoelklip’ bakkie terwyl die ander studente hul ontwerpe met illustrasies en letters of kalligrafie kombineer

LETTERS IN CLAY
Inside every letter lies hidden a myriad of possible visual combinations which, in conjunction with other letters, create a tapestry of pattern and symbols

I look forward to exploring different applications of letter designs on clay and paper while being inspired by reflecting on and creating from what is on and around the farm with you at a gentle pace. These designs can then be used on fabric, stone, clay or paper

Students wishing to do so, can transfer their design on a beautiful handmade Sue Savage ‘pebble’ bowl at an additional cost of R400 which includes the bowl, the glaze and the two firings The rest of the class will combine their designs with illustrations and letters or calligraphy
