M&G QLD's Rebekah, Andrea and Nadya recently headed to Canberra for the annual NETS Australia meeting, enjoying a busy and rewarding few days connecting with our amazing colleagues from across the country!
It was wonderful to spend time together, sharing ideas, experiences, and opportunities, as well as reflecting on the challenges impacting the sector. These face-to-face gatherings are always a great reminder of the value of collaboration and the incredible work each NETS agency is achieving 👏 🩷 👏
Alongside the meeting, NETS members met with exhibition and touring staff from the National Gallery of Australia and the National Portrait Gallery, as well as colleagues from Canberra Contemporary, and the Office for the Arts. The program also included a range of interesting presentations and discussions, including a session from Creative Australia, and one from TED on the sustainable use of exhibition crates.
It was a great and highly productive trip filled with learning, inspiration, new connections and plenty of valuable conversations. 😊
