Space 1-2 : Presented by Creative Space Hawthorn, an untutored abstract art group based at the Hawthorn Artist Society
“Abstract Artists – Still Awake!” features sixteen Melbourne artists exploring abstraction through emotion, gesture, colour, and form. Presenting diverse contemporary works, the exhibition invites audiences to experience energetic and expressive responses to both inner and outer worlds through creativity, experimentation, and individual artistic vision.

Project Room: Yumi Umiumare
Forest of Butoh 33 celebrates 33 years of Yumi Umiumare’s artistic journey since arriving in Australia in 1993. This immersive exhibition features archival videos, costumes and live performances, tracing her distinctive fusion of Butoh, cabaret, ritual and humour while exploring transformation, migration, cultural exchange and experimentation.

Window Room : Nada Jovic
Nada is a tonal impressionist whose practice centres on life drawing and painting from observation. Exploring tone, light, and atmosphere, she creates expressive compositions that reimagine traditional figure studies through layered backgrounds, contemporary presentation, and a sensitive interpretation of form, movement, and human presence.
