On now // Angela Stewart: Lambere

In Palette III and Palette IV, Angela Stewart brings together pastel, contΓ© crayon and metallic leaf in richly layered works on paper.

Over time, Angela’s linework and brushwork have become increasingly pared back, revealing process and materiality.

πŸ•› The gallery is open tomorrow, Saturday 29 August from 12–4pm.

SYDNEY CONTEMPORARY // Tony Windberg πŸͺΎ

Discover new works by Tony Windberg at Sydney Contemporary 2026, where geology, landscape and human impact collide.

Built through painstaking layers of resin, pigment and texture, Tony's striking multi-panel works evoke shifting terrain, erosion and the traces we leave behind. Balancing control with unpredictability, these powerful works invite us to consider both the beauty and fragility of the natural world.

On now // Paul Uhlmann: Paintings of Tenderness and Eternity

At nearly two metres high, Thoughtform I and Thoughtform II command the gallery as the largest works in Paul Uhlmann’s current exhibition.

Inspired by walks along the southwest coastline, these immersive paintings capture moments where the boundaries between self and landscape begin to dissolve, shifting between the familiar and the otherworldly.

πŸ“ See them in person at Cathedral Square from Wednesday to Friday, 11am–4pm, and Saturday 12–4pm.
