Tusk by New York sculptor, John Clement.
Newly installed at the entrance of Perth Sky Sculpture Park, vibrantly capturing your attention upon arrival.
John Clement

Clement is known for his bold, curvilinear steel works that transform industrial materials into playful, dynamic forms.

Widely held in private and institutional collections internationally, the artist carries forward the Constructivist tradition with a distinctive vocabulary of looping, arcing lines that evoke energy, movement, and joy.

Tusk holds significant meaning for our team and a special place in our hearts.

Generously donated by the artist two years ago to help get our crazy, ambitious idea for a sculpture park in the Perth Hills off the ground.

John believed in our dream from the outset, from the streets of New York a world away, backing our dream bushland project in Western Australia. We are forever grateful for his generosity and foresight. This is our global artistic community at its best, generous, collaborative and visionary.

Thank you John.

John Clement becomes a Founder Supporter of Perth Sky Sculpture Park, alongside fellow donating US artist, Peter Lundberg (more on Peter soon).

Perth Sky Sculpture Park opens 1 November. Counting down! We’re delighted to welcome Tom de Munk-Kerkmeer’s newly installed sculpture, ā€˜Broad Band Dopamine Spike’.

Munk-Kerkmeer’ signature Broad Band paintwork and use of reclaimed materials come together in the work to examine the increasingly addictive relationship people have with information technology.

Ahead of opening the installation of our 60 outdoor works at the Perth Observatory continues - just over two weeks to go until a new year-round cultural destination for WA opens its doors!

Glacier by James Parrett is looking at home in its new Perth Observatory bushland site - the location of Perth Sky Sculpture Park.

Newly arrived this 300kg steel sculpture, entitled M-Fifty, reflects Parrett’s constant desire to investigate the Aesthetic potential of the circular form.

Standing at 230cm high x 310cm wide, the work holds an imposing and yet settled appearance in its new space - as if made for the Australian bush and wide open skies.

Our site is beginning to transform as our first sculptures arrive ahead of Perth Sky’s 1st November public opening. 15 artworks installed and 35 to go.

We will be sharing photos of new arrivals as they settle into their new home to give you a taste of what’s to come with the opening of Western Australia’s newest outdoor cultural destination. Created by artist volunteers for artists, residents and visitors to our west coast home.
