Indigenart, Mossenson Galleries is one of Australia's leading commercial galleries specialising in Aborignal art.

In 1993, Dr Diane Mossenson and her husband Dan founded Indigenart, Mossenson Galleries. Both collectors of Aboriginal art, they found it difficult to find the quality of pieces they were looking for and set about opening the first gallery of its kind in Western Australia. Since its conception, the gallery has developed a national and international reputation amongst serious collectors for its int

egrity and selection of quality pieces. Mossenson Galleries remains a family-owned and operated business, with Diane and Dan now working alongside their daughter Naomi.

DISAPPEARING: ACT BY NADA MURPHY

What if we could create our own magic?

Disappearing: ACT explores the emotional layers of a changing environment, from endangered species and drought and flooding rains to the challenge of balancing our growing demand for resources with the need to protect critical ecologies.

Through an art-science collaboration, Nada Murphy’s work reveals stories held within our landscapes and waterways, inviting us to reflect on how we can work together to care for Country.

We’re excited to present Nada Murphy’s Disappearing: ACT – a new body of work exploring the emotional layers we meet in the face of many challenging environmental changes of the contemporary world.

Nada’s works encounters endangered species, “drought and flooding rains”, and concerns about balancing the increasing demand for resources and our need to conserve critical ecologies

Disappearing: Act reminds us of how the magician creates a surprise recovery and asks the question ‘How we can create our own magic?’

Set amongst Walking Snake, the latest exhibition by acclaimed artist Tyrown Waigana, enjoy an afternoon of exceptional live jazz in the elegant surrounds of one of Perth’s leading galleries.

Presented by the Perth International Jazz Festival, this special event is part of the Subiaco Winter Jazz Trail, a free weekend of live jazz taking over Subiaco on 15–16 August.

🎶 12 free performances. 12 unique locations. One big weekend of jazz.

From soulful duos and swinging trios to New Orleans-inspired brass bands and contemporary jazz, explore cafés, galleries, bars, breweries, churches and public spaces across Subiaco.
