This Sunday is Father’s Day and DADS RIDE FREE.

Trains running from 10am to 2pm so bring Dad in for a special Father’s Day miniature train ride that he’ll never forget.

$3 per head for everyone else. Enclosed shoes required to ride.
PLEASE NOTE the grounds are very wet so don’t wear your good shoes!

Another year, another AGM done and dusted. 👏🥳👍.
One highlight is always the Jock McLachlan Stuff Up Award. Several worthy contenders vied for glory, including yours truly, but the one who performed best (or should that be worst?) was long time member Dave Douglas.
And Ken Beard was the inaugural recipient of the Committee Award. (Not the proper name-we haven’t thought of one yet so that may be a Stuff Up nomination next year 😳) Kenny is the Club’s Quiet Achiever, always busy with a project and a smile.

What a great day. Thanks to everyone that came to our little railway today. As the sun set and the trains packed away, ticket sales were counted. A massive 267 passengers 😃

All our volunteers will sleep well tonight and hopefully all our passengers enjoyed their ride and took home wonderful memories.

Our hard working track maintenance crew had a large task over the weekend with the replacing of around 50 sleepers. This helps keep the track perfectly spaced and very secure meaning a safer ride for everyone.
Thanks to the members who assisted and we look forward to seeing you all for our next public run day this Sunday 16th Aug.
