On Thursday 15 October, our doors stay open until 9 pm. On Saturday 17 October, we celebrate the exhibition with a closing drink from 1 to 6 pm.

After an overwhelming opening weekend in Antwerp, we are now getting ready for the annual Brussels Art Week.
RendezVous - Brussels Art Week begins this week, and we are delighted to be part of it.

On Thursday, we open Alle Dagen Cake by Annea Lyvv Dreisz , featuring a selection from her ongoing series of cake paintings.

The series grew out of Dreisz’s research for Empire of Light, a cake created for Art’s Birthday at M HKA. Painting one cake a day became both a meditation and a daily celebration. Inspired by the history of still-life painting, she transforms cake into a symbol of light, joy and togetherness in a world often overshadowed by darkness.

🍒The cherry on the cake will be a performance on
Sunday, 13 September at 4 pm.

Life offers many reasons to celebrate, cake simply makes them sweeter.

Over the past year Annea Lyvv Dreisz painted a cake every single day. These daily paintings now come together in Cake Every Day, our first exhibition of the new season in Brussels.

Join us for a preview on Sunday, 6 September, followed by the official opening during RendezVous - Brussels Art Week .

And since every celebration calls for something special, Annea Lyvv Dreisz presents Empire of Light II: an evolving, participatory artwork that will unfold throughout the exhibition and be activated daily during Rendez-Vous.
