Today we had two classes visit their artworks in the KinderART exhibition.
Students were excited to see their pieces in a gallery setting, and enjoyed looking at what other Kindergarten classes had created.

Big thank you to the Kindergarten teachers for their willingness to participate in this exhibition and for arranging special field trips, and an even bigger thank you to these incredible young artists for their hard work creating such special pieces for the show!

Thursday, May 14: 4:00-8:00pm
Friday, May 15: 4:00-8:00pm
Sat/Sun, May 16/17: 11:00am - 5:00pm

The 13th Annual Student Art Show features incredible work by local high-school students from Morden Collegiate and W.C. Miller Collegiate.

If you haven't yet had the chance to see the works on display, ensure you take the opportunity to do so!

The show runs May 1-9, 2026.

Something special is coming...

After the high school art show, come check out something new: a KinderART show!

Our first time presenting an exhibition like this, local kindergarten students are creating artworks based off of two provided prompts.

You can see the exhibition in person during the following dates and hours:

May 11 to 17, 2026

Monday to Friday - 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Saturday & Sunday - 11:00 am - 5:00 pm

The exhibition opening program for 'Remembering' took place this morning in the Millennium Exhibition Centre lobby in front of the Memorial Display case.

A huge thank you to all that attended, to Callum Morrison for the beautiful singing, Greg Costen for the meaningful message, and Perry Batchelor for the information surrounding many of the items inside the cabinets.

Gallery in the Park will be open November 11th, 10:00am - 5:00pm.
The exhibition runs til 5:00pm on Sunday, November 16th.
Open until 8:00pm Thursday, November 13th.

Due to the nature of the exhibit and the fragility of the artworks, all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Setting up for 'Remembering', the week-long exhibition in honour of Remembrance Day.

Featuring scale models by Barry Friesen and Rod Buhr, paintings by Steve Penner, photographs, and more.

The exhibition takes place in the large room on the main floor of the gallery.
Open Monday, November 10th to Sunday, November 16th, 10:00am - 5:00pm daily (open until 8:00pm on Thursday, November 13th).

There will be a short opening program at 10:00am in the lobby of the Millennium Exhibition Centre on Monday, November 10th, with message by retired military chaplain Greg Costen, and singing by Callum Morrison.

**Due to the nature of the exhibit and the extreme fragility of the artworks on display, children must be accompanied by an adult.
