That patch of grass in your yard might be doing more science than you think! By waiting a little longer to mow, spring flowers like dandelions and clover can bloomโ€”providing important nectar and pollen for bees and other pollinators when food sources are still limited.

Pollinators play a critical role in healthy ecosystems and food production, so even small actions can make a difference. ๐ŸŒฑ

๐Ÿ”ฌ Science East was excited to be part of New Brunswick Mining Week 2026!

From May 12โ€“14, our team joined students, educators, and organizations from across the province at the Hugh John Flemming Forestry Centre in Fredericton for three days of hands-on learning and exploration.

We had the opportunity to connect with more than 1,700 students from schools across New Brunswick through engaging STEM activities, interactive exhibits, and conversations that sparked curiosity and creativity.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to explore, experiment, and learn with us during this exciting week of discovery!
