Don't think you can get your artwork done in time for the AIPS Sagebrush deadline? You're in luck! The deadline has been EXTENDED to Wednesday, September 9th.

We are looking for art following the theme of the Kamloops Red Bridge. The historic Red Bridge served as a crossing and point of connection for 88 years until it burned down on September 19, 2024. The sudden loss of the Red Bridge was a hard blow to many, altering the landscape and rupturing familiar pathways. As we reflect on the bridge's memory, this exhibition invites artworks that explore the Red Bridge's legacy and loss, including its impact on individuals and communities.

A New book added to our book nook

Dr. Nan Steven's book is a poignant narrative of twenty mothers who provide exceptional care to their child(ren) to educate and enlighten us.
These caregiver experiences broaden the current epistemology and offer best practices that will vastly improve how families are treated today and in the future. In addition to health policymakers, this book is a valuable resource for students and practitioners in diverse fields such as family counselling, nursing, grief counselling, social work, psychology, law, and family, pediatric and rehabilitation medicine.
