Three new exhibits are on display at the museum for the 2026 summer season. Located on our Barracks Level, these exhibits expand on Murney's construction, past residents of the Tower, and a local teacher's vast collection of royal memorabilia.

All three exhibits are available in English and French and will be open for viewing until September 7th. Be sure to stop by and see our new offerings!

And don't forget to head down to the basement to see some special pop-up exhibits, too!

Last Friday, Murney Tower Museum was happy to take part in the Kingston Regional Heritage Fair.

The fair brings together museums, heritage sites, and other organizations from around Kingston to explore the region's unique history and celebrate all the hard work that local students have put into their history projects.

We hope that all the students we met had lots of fun playing our mystery card game, Murney Spy! We look forward to attending again next year!

Last night, we held our annual Opening Event to kickoff the start of the operating season!

We were so pleased to celebrate the occasion with Mark Gerretsen, many members of Kingston's City Council, colleagues from the heritage sector, and Murney's many friends.

It was a great way to unveil our new exhibits for the first time and share our plans for the summer season. Murney Tower Museum officially opens to the public May 16th at 10 AM and we hope to see you then! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰
