𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽: 29 John St, Port Dover, ON

The main focus of my art is portraiture: I paint portraits in acrylic on canvas or board, the majority of which are mounted in antique frames sourced from local shops and antique markets. The art is both organic and technical, with emphasis on perspective, scale and harmony.

Heather Verplanke was born in Brantford, Ontario and currently works out of her studio space in Port Dover. She has had showings at several art galleries including the Light House Festival Theater, the Waterford Old Town Hall and Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brantford.

I create functional pottery that is either wheel thrown or made by using a slab roller. I love including lots of colour and nature themes.

I am a potter with a studio located in Waterford. I have been working with clay since 2018.

Creating sculpture and decor through intricate collections of upcycled metal; all hand welded and uniquely designed. Each peice tells a story in both subject matter and the collective material used; some reflective of the world around us, and some entirely derived from the dark depths of the artists imagination.

Trickett MeTal Art has grown to be described as a hidden gem of Norfolk County, located in the back alley garage of Mackay Trickett in beautiful Port Rowan. Mackay Trickett has combined his professional skills of welding and mechanics with his passion and creative eye to see what scrap metal can be, in its next life. Trickett MeTal Art has spent the past 5 years being showcased in various local events, boutiques, and community fundraisers as well has traveled to events in Mississauga, Brant and Oxford counties. Trickett MeTal Art is proud of the commissioned custom works that have homes beyond Ontario: into Quebec, Alberta, and multiple states in America. Trickett MeTal Art is excited to be returning for a second year on the Norfolk Studio Tour.

𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽: 198 Highway 6, Simcoe, ON

I use bold Acrylic colours on canvas and textured Encaustic Mixed Media techniques on boards to create a lasting impression of a moment in time. My artistic goal is to evoke feelings of quiet moments that allow the viewer to pause and reflect on the natural landscapes and urban settings surrounding us and the stories they reveal.

I am an Acrylic Encaustic Mixed Artist based in Simcoe , Ontario and my work explores the quiet beauty of the rural settings surrounding me, and the resilience of historical urban settings that have stood the test of time. My work has been featured in several galleries and studio tours across Ontario since 2008.

Kristi works with watercolour paper stretched over canvas. Using charcoal, watercolour paints and natural stains including coffee to create her art works.

Kristi Osinga graduated Sheridan College in 2003. Since then she has been displaying her art in Oxford County and more recently Norfolk County.

My love of colour seems to find itself in all of my landscapes using degrees of abstraction and fabrication to complete each piece. Paint, paper, wood, steel and clay are the materials I love along with commissions for many people.

I am currently working and living at 7 Elm Park Drive in Port Dover and proud to have been on the tour for 15 years. I have been part of many group shows in the area with 2 one person shows and several painting and sculpture competition prizes.

Addi Lemmon works largely in plein-air watercolour painting, and found-object collage using materials foraged on her excursions. Rooted in the environment of her hometown, she creates and shares from a place of meditation, conservation, and appreciation of her surroundings.

Addi Lemmon is a painter/illustrator based in Waterford, Ontario. She graduated from the University of Guelph BA Honours Studio Art program in 2022, and has since exhibited her work in public galleries in Guelph and Norfolk County, participated in local artisan markets, and organized children's outdoor art camps and workshops.
