"Close Quarters" is our Bill Schwarz window painting for this week. It is a 36 x 36" oil on cradled canvas and looks fantastic in the window with Scott Barnim pottery on either side. We have a number of new Bill Schwarz paintings on the gallery walls and a great selection of Scott Barnim pottery too. Early spring is well represented on our walls and shelves by our many talented artists and ceramicists. Shannon Reynold's "Early Spring Narcissus with White Tulips" is 12 x 12" oil on cradled panel, Tanya Zaryski's "Tulips" is a 17.75 x 17.75" acrylic on cradled panel and "May in the Dolan" is a 20 x 16" acrylic on canvas by Stratford artist Leslie Watts. The wheel thrown and hand painted porcelain plate and vases are by Andrea Vuletin. We have many more paintings and ceramics by these artists and others. We are open Wednesday to Saturday 10:00 - 4:00.

We have all the new Bill Schwarz ready for viewing online and in the gallery. This 36 x 48" oil on canvas painting will be in our window for this week when it will be replaced by a new one. We are so pleased to have new work by Bill Schwarz that will be on the wall by Friday May 8th, just in time for Mother's Day weekend. The three works shown here can be sold individually as 24 x 24" paintings on canvas or put together on the wall to be a 24 x 72" triptych. A cropped version of the triptych can be seen in our header. We will be posting more work by Bill later this week. To see work by all our artists come and visit us anytime Wednesday to Saturday 10:00 - 4:00. A reminder that we also have ceramics by a number of outstanding Ontario potters, wood bowls, beautiful jewellery for Mother's Day and lovely little wood boxes, perfect for keepsakes.

Spring seems to finally be here and soon we will see our garden ferns poking up and regaling us with their enchanting fiddleheads captured here in incredible detail by Botanical Artist, Maeve Hughes. Maeve uses watercolour, coloured pencil and graphite to create her botanical art. We carry Maeve's original work and high quality reproduction prints of most of her work. We are open Wednesday to Saturday 10:00 - 4:00.

More spring! The very talented Marion Adler has given us four beautiful hand tinted botanical photos each one a work of art ready for framing and display. The photos have been taken by Marion of flowers from her garden or the florist shop and after they are turned from colour to black and white she hand tints them with watercolour and in some cases coloured pencil. A good way to keep the warmth of a sunny day in your life is with an artwork on the wall like Denise Nonomura's "Rooster and Lemons". This soft pastel on archival paper, 14.5 x 11", is framed and ready to hang. Denise was recently honoured with an Eminent Pastelist designation by the Pastel Artists of Canada for her mastery in the pastel medium. We have a number of works by Denise which you can see anytime Wednesday to Saturday 10:00 to 4:00.

We have just redone our window with three new acrylic paintings by Stratford artist, Michelina Williamson. The Treasure Box, The Stone Cottage by the Bay and Across the River Blue are just three of seven new works by Michelina.
