Altered Nature
ARDIF × PIXELPANCHO
30 May – 17 July
Altered Nature brings together ARDIF and Pixelpancho, two distinctive voices in Urban Art whose works approach nature not as representation, but as a dynamic and constantly shifting condition. Emerging from the street and urban art scene, both artists combine organic forms, technological aesthetics and urban influences in unique ways.
At the center of the exhibition is the idea of a nature that can no longer be understood as untouched or idealized, but instead as something shaped by human intervention, technological processes and cultural transformation.
In the works of ARDIF and Pixelpancho, nature appears as a hybrid system — simultaneously organic and constructed. ARDIF’s imagery often reveals biomechanical structures in which plants and machines merge into one another, while Pixelpancho develops complex scenarios oscillating between nature, architecture and mechanical elements. Structures seem both grown and engineered; surfaces carry traces of time, memory, damage and repair.
The resulting works move beyond classical notions of landscape and instead focus on processes: growth and decay, layering and fragmentation, mechanics and abstraction.
The title Altered Nature intentionally remains open-ended. “Altered” refers not only to physical transformation, but also to perception itself — to a nature filtered through technology, urban space and imagination.
Rather than making a direct statement, the exhibition creates an atmospheric space in which different states of an altered nature encounter one another and form new connections.
