What you don't always see is the work, laughter and occasional chaos that goes into keeping Northumberland Haunted Museum running.

One of my favourite things about Northumberland Haunted Museum is that there's always something interesting hiding in plain sight.

Some of our most fascinating objects aren't necessarily the biggest or the scariest.

Today we had the pleasure of attending the launch open day for local business Tulip Design, and what an absolutely incredible job they've done! 😍

The attention to detail, the atmosphere and the work that's gone into creating somewhere so special is just fantastic.

If you're looking for somewhere a little bit different and truly special to stay, you absolutely need to check this place out! 🏡✨

🖤👻 WHAT A FABULOUS EVENING!

Last night we had the pleasure of heading to Seven Stories in Newcastle to watch Chris McKinnell's presentation, and what a fantastic evening it was! Everyone absolutely loved it.

Chris, I do apologise for making you look like you've wandered straight out of Game of Thrones in that chair, but honestly, the opportunity was too good to miss! 😂👑

On a more serious note, it's been an absolute honour getting to know over the last few days. Such a genuinely lovely guy, with values and an approach to the paranormal that really resonate with what , myself and our wonderful team are trying to achieve at Northumberland Haunted Museum.

And for once, we weren't the ones hosting! It was lovely to actually sit back, relax and take everything in.

Thank you, Chris, for a wonderful few days, the conversations, the laughs and the inspiration. 🖤

Most people treat hauntings like cheap thrills, but after more than 30 years working with the spirit world, I've come to believe there's something much deeper behind them.

Perhaps they're not here to frighten us.

Perhaps they're here because something mattered so much that it left a mark on the world that simply won't fade.

Every haunting has a heartbeat. Every location has a history. And behind every unexplained experience, there may be a story waiting to be told.
