Handcrafted in Burwash, East Sussex, every piece is made at home with creativity, colour and care at its heart. Passionate about reducing waste, they thoughtfully use every scrap of material possible and are constantly experimenting with fresh new designs.

Their jewellery is playful, vibrant and full of personality — perfect for adding a splash of colour to a favourite outfit or making a bold statement all of its own.

Currently at Bexhill Artrium we have a small exclusive selection of necklaces and earrings. Only one of each design available. Unique pieces with sassy colours and joyful character.

All earrings are made with hypoallergenic stainless steel posts and wires.

A little Sunday thought...

I've heard the comment a few times now that I "should open on Sundays."
Interestingly, not once has this suggestion actually come from a customer.

For those who don't know, since opening Bexhill Artrium last year, I haven't taken a single day off sick. Running an independent gallery and gift shop involves far more than simply opening the door each morning. Alongside serving customers, I'm constantly promoting the business, supporting now 40 creatives, responding to emails and messages, designing and ordering greeting cards and prints, processing stock, managing displays, attend meetings and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Even on days when the shop is closed, I'm often in there cleaning, dusting, watering plants, organising stock, and catching up on the endless jobs that come with running a small business.

Like everyone else, I also have a home to look after and a life outside of work. By the time Sunday arrives, I'm usually exhausted. In fact, since January, I haven't managed to create a single piece of my own artwork!!

I don't feel I should have to justify myself to recharge, but as the subject keeps coming up, I felt it was worth saying.

I fully respect how other people choose to run their businesses and live their lives, and I'd appreciate the same courtesy in return.
