Bignor Roman Villa will be open tomorrow for Bank Holiday Monday from 10am, last entry 3:30pm.

Unfortunately the Sunflower Maze is now closed for 2026.

The Villa remains very much open however unfortunately our sunflower maze is now closed for the 2026 season! Thank you 🌻💛

🌻 **IMPORTANT UPDATE – SUNFLOWER MAZE CLOSED** 🌻

Following yesterday’s weather, our sunflower maze has unfortunately been flattened and the conditions now pose a health and safety risk to visitors.

We have carefully considered whether we could remain open just for sunflower picking, but sadly the field is not safe for this either. Therefore, we’ve had to make the difficult decision to close the sunflower maze to the public from today onwards.

This isn’t a decision we’ve taken lightly, but the safety of our visitors and team has to come first. 💛

A huge thank you to everyone who has visited, supported us, shared our posts and enjoyed the sunflowers with us this season. It’s been absolutely lovely welcoming so many of you, and we’re so grateful for all your support. 🌻

We’re already looking ahead to next year… and hopefully with a little less dramatic weather! 🌦️😂

While some other sunflower fields are closing due to the heat and wilting flowers, we’re happy to report that our 9-acre field is still looking lovely and is ready to welcome you this weekend!💛

Today we’ve experienced problems with our sumup machines not taking card payments despite the teams efforts to sort it. We apologise for this inconvenience. Therefore we suggest to avoid long waits in the heat if you can pay by cash until the issues are resolved we’d been very grateful (so will you!)
