As a proud member of The Farewell Flowers Directory I'm delighted to report that the team who took the first ever display of fully compostable funeral flowers to the Chelsea Flower Show WON GOLD!

They are demonstrating that funeral flower created without the use of damaging floral foam and other single use plastics can be truly individual, creative and personal whilst being in time with the environment.

I'm delighted to say that every design we produce here on the flower farm in our corner of West Sussex is is contributing in it's own way to changing the face of funeral flowers.

COUNTODWN TO RHS, CHELSEA: We are rooting for our friends at the Farewell Flowers Directory as they get ready to stage the first ever display of plastic-free funeral floristry in the 112 year history of . They are taking funeral flowers out of the shadows and into the spotlight and we can't wait to see how they get on.
I am a proud member of the Farewell Flowers Directory, which is a not-for-profit company founded last year with the aims of removing plastic floral foam and single-use plastic from funeral floristry and showing how beautiful and personal funeral flowers can be as in one of my recent designs below.
The RHS Chelsea Flower Show opens today with press day and the Royal visit.
