We may no longer send postcards whilst on holiday, but some of us do enjoy looking for old postcards whilst on our travels. Particularly cards that you have never seen before to add to your collection. This view of West Street hasn't really changed much, nor that of Pagham Church. As is quite often, it is the writing on the back that is of most interest, as it is a snapshot of social history, telling the sender where we are and what we have been doing. Also, the style of English, which was somewhat more respectful than our our texts today might be. To find our more about the town's history, visit Bognor Regis Museum, West Street, open Tuesday -Saturday 10am-4pm, PLUS THIS BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY.
