Started unpacking, framing and hanging the Venice work in the gallery now. We will be hosting a little PV at the end of May and I’ll be talking briefly about the trip if anyone is interested… dates to be confirmed soon.

I’ve been learning to row gondola style. Veniceonboard teach gondoling in order to fund their passion for restoring Venetian boats. The workshop is fascinating. The rowing is tough. The painting is a work in progress of my favourite view, Tre Archi, Cannaregio.
Only a week before I head back to Blighty. I will be hosting a show of the finished work in a couple of weeks. There will be a PV. Watch this space!

Here today I can exclusively reveal the secret of how to paint ‘en plein air’. Don’t need to pack light, use special pots and easels, just take your whole studio with you!
