Here's a video from a few weeks back when work was begun by volunteers on extending our current miniature railway line.

Speaking of our miniature railway, it will be running between 10:30 and 15:00 on Sunday 31st May for our last Diesel Day of half term. Come down and see how work is progressing for yourself. We have a donation box in the miniature railway station if you want to help us fund the current expansion project.

Tickets are available online until midnight on Saturday, we will be selling tickets on the door too.

Tickets are still available for our Diesel Days tomorrow and Sunday 31st May. The museum will be open from 10:00 until 17:00, with unlimited train rides from 10:30 till 15:00.

Event Update - Monday 25th May - Please Note: Most of our site is Asphalt, after consulting with a Vet we do not recommend you bring Dogs tomorrow as it will be too hot for them.

The RSPCA advises dog owners to be extremely cautious about walking dogs on hot pavements during warmer weather, as it can cause serious burns to their paws. A simple "five-second pavement test" can help determine if the ground is too hot for a dog's paws. If you can't comfortably hold the back of your hand on the pavement for five seconds, it's too hot for your dog's paws.

Don't forget to take care of yourself too, we strongly recommend wearing sun protection like sun cream, sunglasses and hats.

Tickets are available up until midnight tonight from our website. We will be selling tickets on the door too.

We have a busy week at the museum with something for everyone so why not pick a day and visit us. We are open on Wednesday, the weekend and Bank Holiday Monday from 10:00 till 17:00.

On Wednesday 20th and Saturday 23rd May we are open for museum viewing. The museum site will be open, we just won't be running any trains.
