Expedition Dinosaur offers a completely unique and customized mobile palaeontology exhibition that takes you on a journey through the golden age of dinosaur discoveries during the 19th Century up to the present day. Our workshops are led by a highly experienced professional lecturer with over 20 years of educational expertise. We are proud to be SEN friendly an

d have full DBS checks in place. Our workshops are action-packed, interactive, and most importantly, fun! We aim to inspire young minds and encourage their involvement in the natural world, the sciences and ideal for career days. Version 1:
Our Educational Workshop Package includes a dynamic range of items from the exhibition, such as a life-sized T. Rex skull and fleshed-out head, along with a fun and interactive presentation. Participants will have the opportunity to handle fossils, engage in storytelling, participate in science activities, light dinosaur based exercise, enjoy drawing activities, and even try their hand at fossil casting. Please note that activities may vary from time to time. Version 2:
If you're hosting festivals, carnivals, fetes, community events, or any other special occasion, our authentic tented display will transport you back to the wild west. Marvel at our collection of specially selected museum-quality reproduction dinosaur fossils from the UK and USA, including some of the most renowned species from that period. You'll have the chance to handle these fossils and get up close and personal with the skull of one of America's largest predatory dinosaurs, the Tyrannosaurus rex, and much more. Version 3:
For exhibitions, museums, and other indoor venues, we offer the FULL mobile palaeontology exhibition experience, including the only life sized Spinosaurus skull cast in the UK. Along with the exhibition, you'll have the option to include a costumed or non-costumed curator who will guide children and families through the fascinating artifacts on display. Version 4:

We are based in the UK and primarily operate in the Northeast and North Yorkshire regions, but we are also willing to travel further to bring our exciting exhibition to you. Terms and conditions:

Prior to making a reservation, please ensure that your venue offers the following amenities:
- Secure parking
- Parking and unloading area located adjacent to the building (suitable for large and heavy items)
- Internet and Wifi connectivity
- Allocate 1.5/2 hours for setup and a similar amount of time for dismantling

For outdoor events:
Event Sponsors are responsible for providing a suitable pitch that allows for the installation of an awning with pegs. They must also guarantee that the area surrounding the display is safe and secure. In the event of unfavourable weather conditions or other circumstances beyond the control of Expedition Dinosaur preventing the display of items and demonstrations on the event day, the agreed fee remains payable as long as Expedition Dinosaur is present at the venue. Expedition Dinosaur reserves the right to cancel attendance at an event if the weather conditions or other circumstances are not conducive to an outdoor museum display. Additionally, Expedition Dinosaur has the authority to conduct raffles and merchandise sales. All fees for outdoor events must be settled in full before or on the event day, unless otherwise specified, with a deposit required. For museums, schools, etc., payment must be made no later than 28 days after the event. Expedition Dinosaur operates under the Padraig's Historical Workshops Franchise.

Sonny & Cher making an appearance the other day at the exhibition.

The kids were able to handle one of the sleeping baby Utahraptors for a special photograph and talked about nesting behaviours in dinosaur species.

It's all about making lasting and happy memories for visitors 😊.

The final day of the Dinosaurs, Monsters, and Lost Expedition at Kirkleatham Museum is on Sunday, 6th September! Wow, it has flown by!!

Todays special guest at the Museum is none other than....Megalodon!!!

This has been requested several times, and today is the day, it makes an appearance at Kirkleatham Museum & Grounds

Todays museum guest is a fantastic reconstruction of the famous Parasaurolophus.

Good morning, everyone.

For today's special guest at the Museum, it is none other than Allosaurus!

Allosaurus was a large meat-eating dinosaur that lived about 150 million years ago during the late Jurassic period. Growing up to 28 or 40 feet long and had an insane, brutal slash and tear bite!!.

Do come along today, to Kirkleatham Museum & Grounds to see this and the rest of the exhibition.
