The Magnus Viking Association presents the summertime festival at the Ballydugan Medieval Settlement

Saturday the 27th and Sunday the 28th june. 12pm to 5pm

Come along to our wee village and step back in time to the medeival era ⚔️ join us in celebrating the summer months and wishing summer blessings for the months ahead to be bountiful and grow ever so more.

So much activities for both children and adults 🔥

Meet the vikings and celts
Meet the wolfhounds
Get dressed for battle
Archaeology exhibit
Mini shield making activity for the children
Clay creatures and bug making
Real viking battles ⚔️
Children vs the vikings. (Who will win?)
Living history
Medieval market
Axe throwing for both adults and children

Last but definitely the best. The mead making workshop shop 🍯🍾 (Adults only) more details to follow with limited spaces.

£5 per child
£10 per adult
£25 family ticket. 2 adults 2 children

While we celebrate summer. bring along a picnic and enjoy the natural beautiful scenery of the mournes and our wee lake for some quiet time.

We have monitored the weather carefully and have decided to regretfully postpone our ostara festival. The event will not happen this saturday due to the storm activity increasingly getting worse. The storm has now been officially named. This wasn't an easy decision to make and we were hoping that something might have took a turn as we were so excited to see you all again and open our village to you all once more💔

The event is being rescheduled and we will keep you posted on the new festival date.

VOLUNTEERS WANTED
2 roles: Gardener and Maintainance person to work along side current gardener and to support the maintainance team.
Minimum 3 hours per month.
Onsite guidance and training.
Requirements:
1. Gardener: some experience of gardening, growing seeds for vegetables and herbs, use of ride-on lawn mower or strimmer.
2. Maintainance person: some experience of woodwork and use of various power and manual tools.

What a fantastic day we had yesterday! Our little village got raided by the primary 6's from Downpatrick Primary School! As you can see they enjoyed themselves as much as us. The weather even favoured their raid 🔥⚔️🔥⚔️
