A huge thank you to everyone who came along, got involved, and helped us bring this fantastic build to life. It was amazing to see so many people of all ages contributing to something that celebrates the legacy of Jim Clark in such a fun and unique way.

The finished build is now on display at the Jim Clark Motorsport Museum, and we’d love for you to come and see it for yourself over the coming months. Whether you joined us on the day or couldn’t make it, there’s still plenty of time to experience it up close!

We’d also like to extend our sincere thanks to the Learning & Inclusion Team from Historic Environment Scotland for their support in making this event possible.

On This Day 1965... Jim Clark drove the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife to win the German Grand Prix in dominant fashion 🏁

Driving the Lotus 33 for Team Lotus, Clark led from start to finish, pulling out a stunning lead of over one and a half minutes. The Nürburgring was so dangerous that drivers often referred to it as “The Graveyard” – but Clark made it look effortless, his mastery of the 170-corner ‘Green Hell’ a perfect showcase of his otherworldly car control, focus, and finesse.

Another win, another chapter in what would become the greatest season in motorsport history. 🏎
