Waltham Windmill From 1666, to the present day there has always been a mill in the village of Waltham.

Several Mills have operated here, and the present one, which was built in 1878 - 1880, is a fully restored and operational Six Sail working mill. Don't forget this weekend is National Mills weekend so come and visit your newly renovated Mill open Saturday and Sunday its also picnic at the mill on Saturday run by Waltham Parish Council see the link below for details and timings of events. https://www.walthamparishcouncil.gov.uk/parish-events/picnic-at-the-mill

Crane on site and the sails are going back up today.

The centering wheels have arrived and were fitted on Monday. The cap has now been successfully turned on the new curb rail. Weather permitting the sails should be reinstalled by the end of March. A very big thank you to Fowler and Holden in Grimsby for casting the centering wheels and enabling the work to progress.
