A LITTLE ADVICE ON FRAMING…

The right frame can completely transform a piece of artwork but choosing one isn’t always as simple as it seems!

A few tips from us at The Port Gallery:

1. Choose the frame for the artwork first, not just the room.
2. We always recommend a mount of your artwork. Stops your picture sticking to the glass.
3. Be bold! Colour, texture and something a little unexpected can make your artwork really stand out.
4. Keep artwork away from radiators, fireplaces and other heat sources to help protect both the picture and its frame.
5. And most importantly… don’t be afraid to ask for advice!

With so many mouldings, mounts and combinations to choose from, finding the perfect look can feel overwhelming. That’s where we come in!

Our bespoke picture framing is expertly done using the finest materials and is fully guaranteed, and we’re always happy to help you find the perfect finish for your piece.
