We're a finalist! Port Sunlight Museum is up for Small Visitor Attraction of the Year at the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards 🥳

A big thank you to our team, volunteers and wonderful visitors who make our independent museum so special. Incidentally, 2026 is the museum's 20th anniversary, giving us even more reasons to celebrate.

The next in our community lantern making workshops for the Boating Pond takes place tomorrow at Schoolofcreate 🕯️

Drop into their friendly and creative space based behind the Lyceum (accessed via Bath Street by the bowling green hut) on Saturday 17 October between 10am–3pm to have a go at making your own jar or paper lantern. Limited materials are provided, however please bring a glass jar if you can. All ages and abilities welcome.

You'll be invited to carry your lantern or light holder as part of a special parade to mark the switching on of the fountain in the restored Boating Pond – date to be announced soon!
