In 2020, the series took a transformative turn into the animal kingdom. Using the goldfish as a medium, the artist explores the delicate tension between memory and baggage.
โข The Metaphor: While a goldfishโs short memory is often seen as a flaw, here it is a shortcut to transcendence. To "forget" is to "let go." By shedding the weight of identity and past attachments, one achieves a state of pure, childlike liberation.
โข The Vision: Through the interaction between the Child and the Goldfish, "imperfection" is redefined. Forgetfulness isn't a lossโit is the very condition required to reach a state of grace.
The Question: Are we living too heavily simply because we remember too much?
