Get EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT tickets for Malton Roman Festival V now!

This year’s Roman Festival brings our biggest ever re-enactment village and living history area, with an outstanding line-up of experimental archaeologists and living history groups.

We will also be joined by two special guests in the author’s tent. Creator of Horrible Histories, Terry Deary, returns with his newest book Revolting, and acclaimed Roman fiction author Lindsey Davies, whose Marcus Didius Falco Mysteries and Flavia Albia series have won devoted fans worldwide, will also be with us.

Join us on Sunday 19th May in Orchard Fields - you do not want to miss it. The early bird discount is available online until 1st July, so book now!

Malton Roman Festival V is not far away, but if you’re eager to learn about Roman life in Malton, join us on our town tour around the Roman Fort next week!

Explore Orchard Fields with our knowledgeable guides, learning all about how the fort developed, what life was like for a Roman soldier, and even how to fight like one!

The tour will commence at 11 am on Saturday 6th June in Orchard Fields on Old Maltongate.

We will welcome Alex Harvey to Malton Museum tomorrow, as he offers some fascinating insights into Yorkshire in the ‘Dark Ages.’

You can buy tickets on the website, but we also accept walk-ins - doors open at 6:30 pm and the lecture will commence at 7 pm.
