Thank you to all our volunteers for everything you do for us, not just as baristas and booksellers managing the cafe and till and thousands of books but all the little things that crop up day to day that we can't categorise!

These past two weeks you have dismantled a clothes rail, reorganised the entire Ebay collection of books, drawn up our events on our chalk board, patiently read long WhatsApp messages from Lorna, weeded our garden, provided crowd control at events, checked tickets, moved filing cabinets, made display boxes, sorted our 25p section, bought oat milk, been to the tip, kept an eye on local news, recorded the volunteer hours, recommended books for our social media AND let Lorna take photos of you for it too.

Phew! And there is so much more we haven't listed here but which is all greatly appreciated.

It's not only us that are grateful but our community too.

From our regulars in the cafe to the groups and clubs who use our rooms to those from near and far who come with questions about their family and local history and the book lovers that come in to find 'a book about a bird by someone called Helen'... we are all thankful for the time, effort and care you give.

Thank you!
