Now showing: Triple Goddess by Serena Korda at the Harley Foundation…

Visit to see the gallery and museum transformed by Korda’s ceramic worlds, exploring three archetypes of a woman’s life: Maiden, Mother, and Crone.

In the Harley Gallery, discover The Maidens (2023), a series of fantastical headdresses, gloves, and disembodied hands, inspired by Penelope’s handmaidens in The Odyssey. Upstairs, Korda presents a new series of family portraits made in collaboration with her six-year-old daughter Yuffie, reflecting the intimate miniature portraits on display in our museum.

Next door in the museum, see two life-sized crone figures exhibited amongst historic artworks collected over 400 years by the Cavendish family and their descendants.

🔗 On show until 6 September. Learn more: https://harleyfoundation.org.uk/whats-on/event/serena-korda-triple-goddess/

Join us this Saturday to watch an exciting eco-themed puppet show performed in our museum!

As part of our exhibition launch day event, watch Harley Studio artist Michelle Reader Artist and Steno Vitale as they perform 'Tales from the Wheelbarrow'. This joyful, eco-themed show is part of Michelle’s new venture, making puppets using recycled materials for her company Wayward Objects. The show is set in and around a wheelbarrow, where Olive the park‑keeper and Teaspoon, a cheeky bird, discover surprising creatures hidden in everyday discarded objects.

Perfect for those young and old, this is a playful, planet-loving adventure for family audiences with live music and puppetry.🔗Book your free ticket on our website: https://harleyfoundation.org.uk/whats-on/event/exhibition-launch-day-serena-korda/
