Who’s got two thumbs, is now the other side of a long-awaited surgery to remove a painful mass from her spine and was crocheting again within 6 hours of her general anaesthetic? This guy! 👍🥳❤️😮‍💨🧶
Enormous gratitude to Miss Cook and Dr Rice who lovingly and efficiently did what so many drs have passed over as too tricky. I’ve been living with constant pain for almost 20 years, much of which is intractable, so solving the things that CAN be solved makes an incredible difference to my well-being and quality of life. This mass has been stopping me from sitting &/or lying comfortably for OVER A DECADE, which would be a nightmare for anybody, but with POTs and CFS sitting/lying down is a pretty bloody vital part of being able to function to even a minimum level! I am currently buzzing with the joy and sheer deliverance of being sans-lump, and although healing and recovery will take time, I am SO excited about life on the other side of surgery, and overwhelmingly relieved/grateful that everything went as well as it seems to have gone so far🤞☺️🥲ONWARDS!!

Hello lovely people 👋☺️ I hope you’re all doing well. I’m a little off the radar at the moment, as last week I (finally!!) had surgery to remove a benign but deeply disruptive mass from the base of my spine, so I’ve been busy preparing, and now recovering, from that. Everything went brilliantly and I’m healing nicely, but it will definitely be a few weeks before I’m back in the studio. I’m making plans though, and can’t wait to get back to it ☺️
In the meantime there are loads of wonderful new, one-of-a-kind handmade goodies up for grabs on the The Magician’s Wardrobe facebook/insta pages, and our fabulous friend’s at Nourish by Battle Hippie (who have been feeding me during my recovery 🙏❤️) have a whole bunch of delicious new nutritious treats available for delivery on the Isle of Wight every Sunday 😋
